Web design · Newcastle NSW

Websites built in Newcastle, for brands that have outgrown theirs.

Fallon Digital is a Newcastle studio for makers, importers and established local businesses. Brand, website, ecommerce and email, designed and built end to end by one senior designer, then looked after month to month.

Who this is for

Local businesses with something worth showing.

Most of the studio's clients are established. They have a product people trust, a reputation built over years, and a website that has quietly fallen behind the business it represents.

Makers and manufacturers. Importers and wholesalers. Hospitality and service businesses across the Hunter. Usually at a turning point: a rebrand, a move to Shopify, or a site that needs to start earning its keep.

What you get
  • One senior designer from first call to launch. No account managers, no handovers.
  • Design in Figma first, so you see the site before it is built.
  • Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow or WordPress, chosen for the job, not the trend.
  • Klaviyo email set up as a proper channel, not an afterthought.
  • Ongoing care after launch, on a plain monthly retainer.
How it works

Three ways to work together.

01 · Website

A new site, designed and built.

Brand direction, copy structure, Figma design, then the build on the right platform. Ecommerce included when you sell online.

02 · Refresh

The site you have, brought up to date.

Keep the platform and the content that works. Fix the design, the structure and the pages that are costing you enquiries.

03 · Retainer

Ongoing care, month to month.

Updates, new products, campaigns and design, handled by the same person who built the site. No tickets, no juniors.

The studio

Hi, I’m Laura.

I started Fallon Digital in Newcastle because established local businesses deserved the rigour of a big agency with the accountability only one person can give. I work directly on every project, and I am the person you will speak to for the life of the site.

Meeting in person around Newcastle and the Hunter is easy. Working with clients in Sydney and further afield is normal too.

I feel so proud of our website now, rather than cringing, knowing how much improvement it needed.

Questions

Asked by Newcastle businesses.

Do you only work with businesses in Newcastle?

No. The studio is based in Newcastle and much of the work is local, but clients are across NSW and Australia. Everything runs the same way whether you are in Mayfield or Melbourne.

Which platform should a Newcastle business use?

It depends on what you sell and who updates the site. Shopify for real ecommerce and a large range. Squarespace or Webflow for service businesses and brands that want a beautiful site they can edit themselves. WordPress when there is a reason for it. I will tell you which and why.

How long does a website take?

A full brand and website usually runs several weeks from brief to launch, longer for large ecommerce ranges. A refresh is quicker. Timing is set at the start and kept.

What happens after launch?

Most clients stay on a monthly retainer covering updates, content, email marketing and design. Same person, no handover. You can also take the site and run it yourself; it is built to be editable.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and the Hunter are easy. Central Coast and Sydney by arrangement. Everything else happens on a call.
