You’ve just launched your website. Now what?

Hey there, fellow website owner! Congratulations on launching your website! You did it! Woohoo!

But now that the initial excitement has died down, you might be wondering, "What's next?" Don't worry, I've got you covered. In this blog post, I'll share some friendly tips on what to do after you've launched your website.

First things first, take a deep breath and pat yourself on the back. You've accomplished something amazing! Now, let's get to work.

  1. Test, test, test!

Make sure your website is working properly by testing it thoroughly. Click on every link, fill out every form, and make sure all images are loading correctly. It's better to catch any issues early on, rather than letting them linger and frustrate your visitors.

  2. Spread the word!

Promote your website through social media, email marketing, and any other channels you can think of. Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about it, and ask them to spread the word too. The more people who know about your website, the better.

  3. Monitor your traffic

Keep track of your website traffic using tools like Google Analytics. This will give you insights into your visitors' behaviour and help you make informed decisions about improving your website.

  4. Keep your content fresh

Update your website regularly with fresh content. This could be new blog posts, updated product information, or anything else that's relevant to your business. A stale website won't attract new visitors, so keep things interesting.

  5. Listen to feedback

Encourage visitors to leave feedback on your website, and be open to their suggestions. Respond to their comments promptly and politely. Remember, your website is for your visitors, so their input is invaluable.

  6. Keep it secure

Protect your website from security threats by using secure hosting, strong passwords, and regular backups. You don't want all your hard work to go to waste because of a security breach.

  7. Keep learning

Stay up-to-date with the latest website design and development trends. Read industry blogs, attend webinars, and keep up with the latest trends and best practices in website design, development, and SEO to ensure that your website remains competitive.

And if this is all too hard and making no sense whatsoever. Send me an email.
